Atlas is the AI assistant inside the TextYess dashboard. It works on your account, with the same access as your user. It answers questions about TextYess and your data, and it prepares work for you: segments, campaign drafts, emails, images and automations. Atlas never sends a message to your customers. You review its drafts and send them yourself. Atlas, as this page describes it, is available for stores on Shopify. If your store uses another platform, Ask Atlas opens an earlier version of the assistant, and some features on this page are not available.

Open Atlas

Use one of these:
  1. Click Ask Atlas in the sidebar.
  2. Click the Atlas field at the top of the dashboard.
  3. Press ⌘ J on a Mac or Ctrl J on Windows.
Atlas opens in a panel on the right side of the page, so you can keep working. The panel needs a screen at least 1,280 pixels wide. On a smaller screen or a phone, Ask Atlas opens the full Atlas page instead.

What Atlas can do for you

  • Answer questions about how TextYess works, your plan and credits left, and your WhatsApp number’s status and daily limit.
  • Analyze results of campaigns, automations, revenue, customers, products and emails, and explain why they changed.
  • Build an audience from a description, as a segment you can edit.
  • Draft WhatsApp campaigns: write the message, set the audience, or copy an earlier campaign.
  • Write email campaigns in your brand, suggest subject lines, and change the email open in the editor, when your account has the email channel.
  • Create images in your brand, and set up your email Design system.
  • Set up automations from ready-made templates, and pause or turn on an automation after you approve.
  • Write a product quiz on the quiz page, and change the quiz open there. Quizzes are not available on every account.
  • Give marketing advice, and read a web page or link that you share.

What Atlas never does without you

  • Atlas does not send or schedule campaigns or emails. It saves a draft. You review the draft and send it from its page.
  • Atlas asks before it changes something that is live. A card shows the change with Approve and Cancel. If you click Cancel, nothing changes. An approval that waits too long expires.
  • Atlas cannot change your subscription, buy messages, or change account settings. It takes you to the page where you do it, for example Plan at https://ai.textyess.com/organization-settings/plan.

Build a segment with Atlas

Describe the customers in your own words, for example “customers with 3 or more orders in the last 6 months”. Atlas builds the segment and saves it in Contacts → Lists & Segments. Its card shows how many people match, and how many can receive WhatsApp and email marketing.
  • Click Open in builder to check or change the filters.
  • Click Undo to delete the segment. You cannot undo it after a campaign or an automation uses the segment, or after someone edits it.

Draft a campaign or an email with Atlas

Tell Atlas what you want to send, to whom, and on which channel: WhatsApp, email, or both. If you do not name a channel, Atlas asks first.
  • A WhatsApp campaign draft appears in Campaigns → WhatsApp. Open it, add an image if you want, and click Send to review. After Meta approves it, send it or schedule it yourself.
  • An email goes into a new email campaign in Campaigns → Emails. It can take a few minutes to design. Its card shows Ready to review when it is done. Click Open to check and edit it.

Approve or cancel a change Atlas asks to make

Some changes affect live work, for example deactivating an automation. Atlas does not make these changes alone. It shows a card with what will change, for example how many people are part-way through the automation and what happens to their scheduled messages.
  1. Read the card.
  2. Click Approve to make the change, or Cancel to keep everything as it is.
After Approve, the card shows Approved. Done. If the change did not go through, check the item on its page before you try again.

What Atlas remembers

Atlas can remember facts that you tell it, for example your ongoing promotions, your tone, or how often to message customers. Before it keeps a note, Atlas shows Atlas wants to remember: with Keep and Dismiss.
  • Atlas only remembers words that you type yourself.
  • Some notes must be confirmed by an owner or an admin.
  • To remove a note, click Forget on it, or ask Atlas to forget it.

Your chats with Atlas

Your earlier chats are in the Chats list on the Atlas page. Click New chat to start a new topic. To delete a chat, point to it in the list, click the trash icon, then click Delete. A deleted chat cannot be restored. You can attach up to 4 images to a message. Each image can be up to 5 MB.

Which language Atlas answers in

Atlas answers in the language of your message. If you write in Italian, it answers in Italian, even when your store or your campaign is in another language. To get copy in another language, ask for it, for example “write the email in English”.

Atlas suggestions on the page you are on

Sometimes Atlas offers help before you ask. A short suggestion replaces the text in the Atlas field at the top of the dashboard, for example after an error or when a task looks stuck. Click the suggestion to send the question to Atlas. Click the close button to dismiss it.

When Atlas cannot help

If Atlas cannot do what you ask, it tells you in one sentence and offers the page where you can do it yourself. If the help pages have no answer to a question about TextYess, Atlas says that it could not find one. It does not guess. For anything else, contact TextYess support: click Help at the top right of the dashboard, then Contact support.
