The WhatsApp bubble shows three texts: the widget message, the button label, and the message that opens in WhatsApp. These texts translate automatically. A visitor sees them in the language of the page they are on. You do not install a second widget, and you do not turn a language on.

Where to edit

Open WhatsApp Agent → Appearance. The Message customization card holds your copy.
  • Source language is the language you wrote your copy in. TextYess detects it from your text.
  • Storefront languages lists the languages your store sells in. Each one shows its state: Automatic or Customized.
You write your copy once, in your source language. Every other language is translated for you.

Customize one language

Automatic translation is enough for most stores. Customize a language only when you want different words there.
  1. Select the language in the list, or use Customize a language to add one.
  2. Edit any of the three fields. Your text replaces the automatic translation for that field only. The other fields stay automatic.
  3. Save.
To go back, open the field and select Use automatic translation.

Needs review

If you edit your source copy after you customized a language, that language shows Needs review. Your custom text is not lost. Open the language and choose for each flagged field:
  • Keep override keeps your custom text.
  • Use automatic translation replaces it with the new automatic translation.

What does not change

The bubble colors, the position, and the installation code stay the same. Localization changes only the copy, and only for the language of the visitor’s page.
